나는

불사조!

매일, 매순간

끊임없이

다시 태어난다네.

 

죽지 않으면

새로운 탄생은 없으니,

죽음 또한 생명의 축복!

 

특히 살아서 에고가 죽는 자는

새로운 세상으로

거듭 태어나리라!

 

벗이여!

탄생과 죽음,

창조와 종말,

그 둘은

동전의 양면,

영원한 동반자이니,

함께 받아들여야

온전한 삶을 살리라!

 

받아들임은

삶의 최고 진통제이자

축복이라네.

I am
the Phoenix!
Every day, every moment,
I am endlessly reborn.

Without death,
there can be no new birth—
so even death is life’s blessing!

Especially those who die to ego while alive
shall be born anew
into a fresh world.

O my friend!
Birth and death,
creation and end—
these two
are but one coin’s twin faces,
eternal companions.
Only by embracing both
can one live life whole!

Acceptance—
the greatest balm of existence,
and its deepest blessing.
